How the rounds work

Two rounds (October 20, 2026 and January 5, 2027); the program offers one intake per year and you may apply to any of the deadlines. 'Late applications may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.' Completed applications are reviewed after each round, with decisions sent approximately 6 weeks after the applicable deadline.

International applicants

You should submit an international application if you are not a US citizen or permanent resident. The program encourages new F-1 visa seeking international students to apply early to allow for sufficient visa processing time; because the program starts in summer quarter, there is limited time after admission to request the I-20/DS-2019 and provide statements of financial ability. Admitted international students must show proof of adequate financial support, and F-1/J-1 students must enroll in the International Student Insurance Health Plan (ISHIP). STEM-designated: eligible F-1 students may qualify for the STEM OPT extension. International students may work on campus up to 20 hours per week. English proficiency is required if your native language is not English (TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo, or a qualifying degree / English-instruction documentation).
