How the rounds work

Round deadlines (six on the Requirements & Deadlines page; the FAQ says five). Only completed applications are reviewed, in the round in which they were completed; each round has a decision notification date. Deadlines on a weekend or holiday are extended through the next business day. Every applicant is automatically considered for merit scholarships (no separate application); admitted applicants who complete by November 1, 2026 get a guaranteed scholarship.

International applicants

STEM-designated: eligible graduates can apply for the 24-month STEM OPT extension (36 months total); the program does not authorize CPT. Full-time students hold an F-1 visa (J-1 only if the funding source requires it); I-20s are issued only after financial support is verified. A 3-year degree from India does not qualify (an additional year of accredited post-baccalaureate study is required). Submit original-language credentials with English translations (China: English and Chinese). Final deadlines: March 15 for international applicants living outside the U.S., May 15 for those living in the U.S.; the June 15 and July 15 rounds are for domestic students only. The application fee is $95 for international applicants and U.S. residents with foreign credentials. English proof is required unless exempt through qualifying post-secondary coursework in a listed country.

  • Two recommendations

The school’s official pages say this differently. Here is what each one says — check with the school before you rely on it.

Two recommendations (Requirements & Deadlines page)

Two recommendations are required. Your recommenders get the GMAC Common Letter of Recommendation form by email once you enter their contact information; they may attach a letter. Both must complete the form, and all recommendations must be received before the deadline you're applying for.
