How the rounds work
Five rounds (October 21, 2026; January 11, 2027; March 29, 2027; May 1, 2027; June 10, 2027), then 'Rolling Admissions: Rolling as space available' — applications are accepted and reviewed 'until the program is filled to capacity' (FAQ: 'until all seats in the program have been filled or until the start of the program'). Decisions: mid-December, mid-March, early May, early June, and within two weeks of a completed application for Round 5.
International applicants
International applicants who require a new student visa are strongly encouraged to apply by Round 3 (March 29, 2027). English test (TOEFL iBT/TOEFL Essentials, IELTS, PTE or Duolingo) unless exempt; exemptions are selected in the application and verified by Graduate Admissions. Transcripts not in English must be translated before submission; you need the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree. If admitted, official transcripts (official translated copies if not in English; a provisional degree certificate plus a university-issued final transcript if the degree isn't yet conferred) are required before the program starts; a credential evaluation is optional for master's candidates. Immigration documents (F-1 or J-1) are requested after admission, deposit and Babson email activation, issued about four months before the start. STEM-designated: 12 months of OPT plus a possible 24-month STEM extension; students on the three-semester (16-month) option can use CPT for an internship in the Summer or Fall semester through an independent research course. International students are considered for full-time merit awards.
