How the rounds work
Full-time Fall entry has three rounds: Early Action, Regular and a new Late round. Late applications after the March 15 round are considered from US citizens and permanent residents; contact the office to confirm applications are still open.
International applicants
Non-native English speakers must submit TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores unless waived: automatically for citizens of Australia, Canada, Commonwealth Caribbean Nations, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Liberia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Virgin Islands, and possibly after at least three years of full-time, in-person post-secondary study in one of those countries. English-taught degrees from other countries do not qualify. A one-page English narrative essay is strongly encouraged. Three-year foreign bachelor's degrees need a WES evaluation. Upload all materials in English (originals may be supplemented with translations). Late applications (after March 15) from US citizens and permanent residents will be considered. STEM-designated: F-1 students can apply for the 24-month STEM OPT extension; the I-20 lists the major as Computational Science (CIP 30.3001). Plan to show about $62,000 in funds for the I-20.
