International applicants

The Luddy master's table lists an International Deadline of March 1, 2027, and says 'Applications are closed to International students after this date.' Only non-native English speakers who earned an undergraduate degree in the US and are applying to a master's program are exempt from submitting an English proficiency test score (TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo); all other non-native English speakers must provide one. Transcripts, mark sheets and degree certifications are uploaded as scanned copies issued by the university; downloads from student portals and third-party evaluations (WES, etc.) are not accepted. U.S. citizens and international students use the same application, and international students must apply online. IU Bloomington's international graduate applicants page says to use the 'Apply for 2027 and beyond' application for the Winter 2026 through Fall 2027 semesters. The Office of International Services (OIS) handles visas and international student support.
