International applicants
MIDS is a full-time degree program and qualifies for a visa; international applicants (and non-citizens residing in the U.S.) are encouraged to apply as early as possible to allow time for the student visa process. STEM-designated (CIP code 30.3001). Admitted international students whose first language is not English take English Language Support Program placement exams at the start of the term, even if the test requirement is waived. A WES or ECE credential evaluation may be submitted, but the transcript from your institution is still required.

Submit a 3-5 minute video in which you tell us about a project you have worked on (work, class or personal interest), presented to someone very intelligent and familiar with data science but not a data scientist. No longer than 5 minutes; you must be seen speaking in at least part of it. Submitted as a link through the online application.
