  The MSDS page lists 'Three Recommendation Letters' without a recommender type. The university's international graduate page says, where letters are required, recommendations should come from individuals familiar with your academic achievement and potential, and applicants out of school for years may submit non-academic references (e.g., employers).

• Math and Statistics Proficiency (bachelor's degree with a computational focus)선택

  Under 'Math and Statistics Proficiency': 'Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a similar degree program with a strong focus on computational research, analytics, machine learning, and coding.' The page also says the program is open to students from all majors and that a bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar fields generally gives a sufficient background.

  There is no minimum GPA requirement, but a competitive applicant typically has a 3.5 GPA.

• Programming language proficiency필수

  Applicants must have a beginner's to intermediate understanding of at least one programming language (R, MATLAB, Python, C++, SQL, Java, etc.). College of Engineering tracks expect higher-level programming proficiency.
