Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and GradTab (“we”). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

What the service is

GradTab helps you organize applications to U.S. master's programs: program requirements and deadlines gathered from schools' official pages, checklists, a calendar export of your deadlines, and feedback on essay drafts.

Program information

We collect requirements, deadlines, fees and waivers from each school's official pages and show the source and how each value was checked. Schools change their rules, and we can make mistakes. Always confirm critical details with the program before you submit. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by any university, and we don't guarantee that any information is accurate, complete or current. It's for reference only, and you're responsible for confirming it with each school.

Essay feedback

• Essay checks are generated by AI. They point out likely problems; they can be wrong and they don't predict admission.
• Your essays stay yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Only submit writing you have the right to share.

Your account

• One account per person. Use an email address you control; anyone with access to it can sign in.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. For example, don't:

• access it with scripts, scrape it, or try to get around usage limits;
• try to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, or get into other people's accounts;
• use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans

• The Free plan includes the tracker for up to 3 programs, requirements, deadlines, a calendar export and 3 essay checks.
• For this application season, we're giving Pro free to 50 applicants. It lasts through the Fall 2027 application season.
• When paid Pro opens, it's a one-time $39 pass for the Fall 2027 application season, not a subscription. We turn Pro on for your account by hand within 24 hours of your payment. If GradTab isn't right for you, email hello@gradtab.app within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, as long as you've used 5 or fewer essay checks. After that, purchases are non-refundable.
• Usage limits apply to essay checks and may change to keep the service running well.

Changes and ending

We may change or discontinue features, and update these terms; we'll post updates here and email you about significant changes. You can stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for missed deadlines, admission outcomes, or indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
