지원 자격

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field필수

  You must have earned or will have earned the bachelor's degree prior to matriculation. International applicants: the degree must be on Cornell's list of international degrees considered equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree; non-equivalent degrees are not acceptable.

• Minimum GPA 2.70필수

  To be eligible to apply: cumulative GPA of at least 2.70 and at least 2.50 for each of the three most recent terms (4.0 scale where A = 4.0). Individual programs may have higher limits.

• Engineering calculus sequence, including linear algebra and vector calculus필수

  A standard engineering calculus sequence, including linear algebra (with eigenvalues and eigenvectors), and vector calculus, similar to Cornell MATH 1910, MATH 1920 and MATH 2940. Must be satisfied prior to matriculation.

• Data Analytics concentration: two-semester calculus-based probability and statistics theory필수

  Additional prerequisite for the Data Analytics concentration: a two-semester sequence of calculus-based probability and statistics theory, similar to Cornell ENGRD 2700 and ORIE 3500. Professional exam credentials (e.g., CFA, FRM) are not acceptable substitutes.

• Financial Engineering concentration: differential equations (strongly recommended)선택

  Strongly recommended: a course in differential equations, similar to Cornell MATH 2930.

• Financial Engineering concentration: introductory finance필수

  Additional prerequisite for the Financial Engineering concentration: an introductory finance course (financial instruments, risk-return tradeoffs, capital budgeting). Economics and accounting courses are not acceptable substitutes.

• Financial Engineering concentration: calculus-based probability and statistics plus stochastic processes필수

  Additional prerequisite for the Financial Engineering concentration: two semesters of calculus-based probability and statistics (similar to ENGRD 2700 and ORIE 3500) and a course in stochastic processes (similar to ORIE 3510).

• Financial Engineering concentration: Python or R (strongly recommended)선택

  Strongly recommended: proficiency with Python (preferred) or R.

• Introductory engineering probability and statistics필수

  An introductory engineering probability and statistics course similar to Cornell ENGRD 2700. Must be satisfied prior to matriculation.

• Introductory and intermediate computer programming필수

  An introductory programming course similar to CS 1110, and an intermediate-level course in a general programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python, similar to ENGRD 2110. Courses where programming is not the primary focus, or in statistical modeling languages such as SAS, are not acceptable substitutes. Must be satisfied prior to matriculation.
