  Required for MS applications (Columbia Engineering's How to Apply page lists it in a complete application). After submitting the application, you get access to submit the video interview in the application: 3 random questions, 3 minutes to answer. Submit it by the deadline listed in your interview link email.

지원 자격

  Three-year bachelor's accepted; a four-year degree is recommended.

• Two college-level calculus courses선택

  Applicants 'should have' this background; the same FAQ also says there are no official prerequisites. Admits can be required to take a math course as a condition of admission.

• One linear algebra course선택

  Same framing as calculus.

• Programming exposure선택

  At least one programming language through a college course or work/internship; Python proficiency expected by the program start.

• Probability and statistics선택

  The IEOR FAQ asks that students have a background in multi-variable calculus, linear algebra, and probability & statistics; it also says there are no official prerequisites.

It allows the applicant the opportunity to explain to the admission committee the distinct qualities and commitment they can bring to the Columbia Engineering community. A few topics that you may want to address in your Personal Statement include: - Describe the reasons you are interested in this program and discuss any relevant past experience. - If you have relevant work or research experience, please indicate how it helped you decide on your career path. - What are your post-graduation plans or career goals? - What do you hope to gain from this program? - What about this program excites you? - If there are any special circumstances that need to be brought to the attention of the Admission Committee, please include that information.
