The graduate admissions page says the program is jointly offered by Khoury College of Computer Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Arts, Media and Design and Bouvé College of Health Sciences. How the rounds work

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received. Fall 2027 semester deadlines: June 15 (international applicants out of country), July 1 (international applicants in country), August 1 (domestic applicants); each 'Deadline is subject to change.'

International applicants

Applicants to US campuses are considered domestic if they hold a US citizenship, a dual citizenship with the US, or a US Green Card; otherwise they are international. International applicants have earlier Fall 2027 deadlines (June 15 out of country, July 1 in country). For international students, a WES evaluation is not required; transcripts issued in another language need an English translation alongside the native language documents. Meets F1 visa requirements; all Khoury master's programs are eligible for post-grad OPT. Applicants choose a first, second, and third campus preference (Boston, Portland, Seattle, Silicon Valley).

    Master's Apply: 'We recommend a length of 1000 words; however, this is a guideline and not a hard limit.' The master's FAQ says: 'The SOP has a maximum of 1000 words (no page limit).' The graduate program page says it should include career goals and expected outcomes and benefits from the program.

  • Transcripts and degree certificatesRequired

    Transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary education institutions (after high school) are required; applicants who have graduated also need degree certificate(s). Upload a PDF copy of your transcripts to your application. Documents issued in a language other than English need an English translation alongside the native language documents. A minimum of six semesters must be shown for a four-year degree (four semesters for a three-year degree). India: semester mark sheets and degree/provisional certificate(s) in addition to the consolidated transcript; China: degree certificate and graduation certificate. Include the reverse side of the transcript(s). For international students, a WES evaluation is not required. Official transcripts must be submitted within 30 days of the start of the semester.

    TOEFL: Recommended TOEFL = 90≥ (or IELTS 6.5≥). TOEFL and IELTS are not super-scored; TOEFL MyBest scores are not accepted. At-home versions of TOEFL are accepted. Upload a PDF copy of your test scores; official scores (ETS code 3679) must be submitted within 30 days of the start of the semester. Scores must be valid as of September 1 for fall admission. The graduate program page says 'Recommended TOEFL iBT score of 4.5'.

    Waiver / exemption: International students may waive the English Language Test only if they have received a 4+ year degree (bachelor’s or doctoral) at an institution where the language of instruction is English. The following circumstances do not qualify for a waiver: degree received in a non-English speaking country (unless language of instruction at the university was English at the time of attendance); 2-year master’s degree received in an English-speaking country; 2+2 or 3+1 programs (joint programs between international institutions). The FAQ also allows a 4+ year degree (bachelor’s or doctoral) in a country where English is an official language.
