  학업 관련 추천인이 최소 2명 필요합니다. 단, 지원일 기준으로 학사 학위를 받은 지 5년이 넘었다면 학업 관련 추천인 제출은 필수는 아니지만 강력히 권장됩니다.

  The test can be waived if you have completed or will complete the entirety of your undergraduate or graduate degree in an English-speaking country. The application has a section that tells you whether the test is required for you.

  MS 지원 시 필수입니다(Columbia Engineering의 How to Apply 페이지에 완성된 지원서의 구성 요소로 기재되어 있습니다). 지원서를 제출하면 지원서 안에서 영상 인터뷰를 제출할 수 있습니다. 무작위 질문 3개가 주어지며 답변 시간은 3분입니다. 인터뷰 링크 이메일에 기재된 마감일까지 제출하세요.

  Required for MS applications (Columbia Engineering's How to Apply page lists it in a complete application). After submitting the application, you get access to submit the video interview in the application: 3 random questions, 3 minutes to answer. Submit it by the deadline listed in your interview link email.

지원 자격

• Bachelor's degree필수

  Bachelor's degree. You may apply with a 3-year bachelor degree, but a 4-year degree is recommended. IEOR looks for candidates with a background in engineering, mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, or other similar quantitative fields.

• One additional math course선택

  For example, differential equations, discrete math, analysis of algorithms or real analysis. Recommended for MS in Operations Research applicants; the IEOR FAQ also says there are no official prerequisites.

• GPA of 3.0 (out of 4) preferred선택

  A 3.0 (out of 4) GPA is preferred; most successful applicants have a GPA higher than 3.0.

• Linear algebra (1 course)선택

  1 course on linear algebra (MATH V2010 or its equivalent). Recommended for MS in Operations Research applicants; the IEOR FAQ also says there are no official prerequisites.

• Multivariate calculus (1 course)선택

  Recommended for MS in Operations Research applicants; the IEOR FAQ also says there are no official prerequisites. Admitted students may be asked to take a math course as a condition of admission.

• Probability (1 course)선택

  1 course on probability, or a joint course in probability and statistics (e.g. IEOR E3658 & IEOR E4307, IEOR E4150 or their equivalent). Recommended for MS in Operations Research applicants; the IEOR FAQ also says there are no official prerequisites.

• Programming experience (preferred)선택

  Programming experience preferred (e.g. Python, R); admitted students without sufficient experience will be required to take a programming-based course.

• Work experience (recommended)선택

  Not required; some professional experience, either a full-time position or an internship, is recommended.
